Concord, North Carolina, is the county seat and largest city in Cabarrus County. Concord NC has a growing population, which reached 59,960 in 2004. Located in the center of Cabarrus county, the population and geographic size have more than doubled since 1990. Settled in 1750, Concord was officially named a city in 1792.
