The Chamber's mission in public policy is to "develop and maintain an active relationship with municipal, county, state and national government officials insuring that business concerns are voiced and addressed."  To that end, the Governmental Affairs Committee monitors issues and meets regularly to discuss them, taking action when necessary. 

Meetings are held at the Chamber during even-numbered months - February, April, June, August, October and December - on the second Tuesday, 8 - 9 a.m.  Committee membership is open to members who have an interest and knowledge in public policy matters.
